This ambitious plan, set to take flight next year, includes service to eight brand-new international cities, positioning United as a leader in connecting travelers to unique destinations.

New Destinations Added for Travelers

Among the new cities that will see United flights are Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia; Kaohsiung, Taiwan; Nuuk, Greenland; Palermo, Italy; Bilbao, Spain; Madeira and Faro in Portugal; and Dakar, Senegal. These additions, which will predominantly be serviced from United’s hubs at Newark Liberty International Airport and Washington Dulles International Airport, highlight the airline’s commitment to expanding its global footprint.

Unique Offerings and Flight Details

Patrick Quayle, the Senior Vice President of Global Network Planning and Alliances, emphasized that United offers unparalleled nonstop access to these distinct international destinations. With new flights commencing between Newark and Palermo three times weekly starting May 21, United will also operate the only flights offering lie-flat business class seats to this popular Italian city. Other noteworthy launches include service to Bilbao beginning May 31, Faro on June 16, and Nuuk on June 14. Additionally, United plans to increase its seasonal offerings, further enriching travel options.
