American Airlines will launch a new flight to Turks and Caicos next year. The new year-round route will take off on Feb. 15, 2025, and will fly twice each week on Wednesdays and Saturdays from Miami. The new flight will operate on an Embraer 175 aircraft with room for 76 passengers, including 12 first class seats.

American already operates flights to Turks and Caicos’ main island of Providenciales.

One-way flights from Miami International Airport (MIA) to South Caicos Airport (XSC) start at $213, according to Google Flights.

Turks and Caicos is a British overseas territory made up of 40 different islands and cays in the Caribbean. The islands are very sought after thanks to the bright turquoise waters, incredible scuba diving, top-notch beaches, and some of the best all-inclusive resorts for families. They’re also considered one of the best islands in the Caribbean to retire in.

South Caicos sits at about 18 square miles, according to the tourism authority, and is a 90 minute ferry ride from Providenciales.
