Chase Sapphire Lounges Opening Soon

Chase is poised to elevate the travel experience for its cardholders by opening five new airport lounges in various locations including Phoenix, San Diego, and more. This expansion, which is set to commence this month, will broaden the access for Chase Sapphire Reserve card members and more. These new lounges will complement the existing locations in major cities like New York and Boston.

What to Expect from the New Lounges

The first of the new lounges will open in Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) on Tuesday, located in Terminal 4, South 1 concourse. This lounge promises unique features such as an indoor “patio,” a retrofitted Airstream food truck offering numerous culinary delights, and a carefully curated wine list to enhance guests’ experience. On December 6, another lounge will debut at San Diego International Airport (SAN) in Terminal 2, boasting over 10,000 square feet of space alongside a wellness area, complete with bookable private rest pods and on-demand digital meditations. The aesthetics will feature creations from local artists, such as surfboards designed by a local muralist.

Future Lounge Plans and Access Details

Looking ahead, Chase intends to open additional lounges in Philadelphia, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles in the coming years. Access to these exclusive lounges will be granted to travelers holding a Chase Sapphire Reserve card, a J.P. Morgan Reserve card, or a Ritz-Carlton credit card with an activated priority pass. Non-Chase priority pass members will enjoy the opportunity to visit a lounge once each calendar year for free, with a $75 fee applicable for subsequent visits. Moreover, Chase card members will now have expanded access to over 20 select Air Canada Maple Leaf lounges as part of their travel benefits.
