This substantial expansion marks a significant milestone for the airline, as they prepare to operate their largest-ever summer schedule with 700 weekly flights.

New Destinations and Increased Service

Among the highlights of Delta’s 2025 itinerary is the introduction of new service to Catania, Sicily. Additionally, travelers can look forward to expanded routes to vibrant cities like Barcelona, Dublin, Naples, and Rome. With a growing number of passengers from the United States heading to Italy, Delta aims to accommodate demand by increasing seat availability by 10%. This includes four weekly flights from Atlanta to Naples and four new weekly flights from Minneapolis-St. Paul to Rome, commencing in May 2025.

Enhanced Connectivity & Amenities

Delta is also launching new service from New York’s JFK Airport to Catania, making it the first U.S. airline to provide direct access to this astounding destination. The airline will add three new weekly flights from Boston to Barcelona and extend service from Atlanta to Brussels, alongside a four-time-a-week connection from Detroit to Dublin. Ticket sales for these exciting new flights commence on September 21, 2024.

In addition to enhanced connectivity, Delta is committed to providing a premium experience, with the recent opening of a stunning Delta One lounge at JFK. More lounges are planned for LAX, BOS, and SEA, ensuring that travelers can enjoy comfort and connectivity from their arrival at the airport to their touchdown at their destination.
