Introducing Direct Flights to Bari
Travel enthusiasts, rejoice! Neos Airlines has recently announced the launch of the first-ever nonstop flight from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Bari, the capital of Puglia, this June. The inaugural flight will take off on June 3, and it marks a significant milestone for travelers looking to explore the lesser-known but stunning southern regions of Italy.
Your Gateway to the Heel of Italy
Puglia, often referred to as the ‘heel of the boot’ due to its distinctive geography, is framed by the Ionian and Adriatic Seas. This beautiful region, while overshadowed by the Amalfi Coast, is rapidly emerging as a sought-after destination. Visitors can expect to find charming towns, Baroque architecture in Lecce, and picturesque coastal views with fewer crowds, creating an idyllic getaway.
Seasonal Comfort and Convenience
The direct flights are set to operate seasonally until October 15, accommodating both premium and economy-class passengers aboard the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. According to Neos, the flight schedule includes Tuesday departures from JFK at 4 p.m., arriving in Bari the following morning at 8 a.m. On return, flights will leave Bari at 11:30 a.m. and land at JFK at 1:50 p.m. This new route is expected to make travel to Puglia significantly more convenient for American tourists.
