Delta Air Lines Expands Summer Services to Alaska
If you’re planning a summer getaway to Alaska in 2025, you’ll be pleased to know that Delta Air Lines is enhancing its services to this stunning destination. Beginning June 8, 2025, Delta will introduce summer seasonal flights from Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) to Fairbanks International Airport (FAI), offering travelers a convenient five-hour journey to the gateway of Denali National Park.
Exciting New Route and Ticket Prices
This daily service will continue until September 9, 2025, operated on Delta’s state-of-the-art Airbus A220-100. According to Angie Spear, the director of Fairbanks International Airport, “I am excited to welcome Delta Air Lines’ expanded summer seasonal service, providing more travel options for our community and visitors.” Tickets are already available for purchase on Delta’s website, starting at $264 one-way, or 22,500 SkyMiles plus taxes and fees.
Enhanced Connectivity to Anchorage
Delta is not just stopping at Fairbanks; they are also increasing their connections to Anchorage. Just before Memorial Day weekend, service from Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) to Anchorage International Airport (ANC) will ramp up to daily flights. Additionally, they will deploy larger Boeing 767-300ER aircraft on the route from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL) to Anchorage, making it easier for travelers to explore the breathtaking landscapes of Alaska.
