Increased Flight Options for Travelers

Travelers from Atlanta and Washington, D.C. will soon have exciting new choices for exploring the Middle East, with the introduction of nonstop flights to Abu Dhabi and Amman. Starting in July 2025, Etihad Airways will operate four weekly flights from Atlanta to Abu Dhabi, introducing passengers to the capital of the United Arab Emirates. This expansion not only enhances travel convenience but also supports the growth of cultural and leisure tourism in the region.

Connecting Travelers to Iconic Destinations

Passengers traveling to Abu Dhabi will discover a city rich in culture, featuring attractions such as the dazzling Corniche and the Louvre Museum. On the other hand, travelers heading to Washington, D.C. can soon fly with Royal Jordanian, which plans to offer two weekly flights to Amman starting March 2025. This new route will facilitate access to Jordan’s renowned historical sites, including the ancient city of Petra and the scenic Jordan Trail.

Enhancing Tourism and Trade Opportunities

Both airlines are keen on boosting tourism and trade through these newly established routes, yet include added benefits for passengers. Etihad’s stopover program offers up to two complimentary hotel nights in Abu Dhabi for travelers who book their flights directly. As these two destinations gain visibility among American travelers, the potential for cultural exchange, exploration, and investment opportunities is poised to grow significantly.
