Traveling to Seoul just got significantly easier, with Alaska Airlines announcing a new nonstop flight route from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) to Incheon International Airport (ICN). Set to commence on September 12, this new service will open doors for travelers eager to explore South Korea’s bustling capital and its vibrant culture.

Flight Schedule and Timing

The flights will be operational Wednesdays through Sundays, departing Seattle at 3:25 p.m. and arriving in Seoul at 6:50 p.m. local time. The convenience continues with return flights leaving Seoul at 8:50 p.m. and landing back in Seattle at 3:00 p.m. the following day. This schedule allows for flexible travel options, making it ideal for vacationers and business travelers alike.

What to Expect from Alaska Airlines

As a part of its expansion strategy, Alaska Airlines aims to offer 12 nonstop international destinations from Seattle by 2030. This development includes other routes such as nonstop flights to Tokyo starting May 12. Andrew Harrison, Alaska’s chief commercial officer, stated, “With our robust network, we can connect our guests through our global gateway in Seattle for convenient nonstop service to Seoul and Tokyo.” Such initiatives ensure that travelers can enjoy seamless connections across Asia and beyond.

With tickets available through both Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines, now is the perfect time to plan your bucket-list journey to Seoul—and immerse yourself in its rich heritage and modern attractions.
