Uber has recently introduced a revolutionary and budget-friendly way for travelers to reach LaGuardia Airport (LGA) from various locations in New York City. This new service, branded as Uber Shuttle, offers 14-passenger bus rides for just $18 per person. Enabling smoother airport transit, this initiative is designed to reduce congestion while providing a reliable transport option.

Convenient Scheduling and Booking

The Uber Shuttle will operate every 30 minutes from 5 a.m. to 10:45 p.m., seven days a week. This dedicated shuttle service targets major transportation hubs, including Port Authority Terminal, Grand Central Terminal, and Penn Station. To book a shuttle, passengers can reserve their seats up to seven days in advance, ensuring a streamlined travel experience.

Eco-friendly and Cost-effective Travel

As noted by Sachin Kansal, Uber’s VP of Product Management, this shuttle service is not only cost-effective but also environmentally friendly. Each traveler is allowed to bring along a piece of luggage up to 50 pounds, along with a personal item. For added convenience, customers can track the shuttle through the Uber app, receive QR-code tickets, and even rate their experience. This innovative service focuses on providing a convenient, affordable transport solution for trips to LaGuardia, with plans for future expansion to other airports.
