Introducing Club Fly at IAH
United Airlines has recently unveiled its latest lounge concept, Club Fly, located at Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). Designed specifically for travelers in a rush, this innovative space offers an efficient way to enjoy refreshments without the need for a full lounge experience. Set on the south end of Terminal B, which caters primarily to United Express flights, Club Fly aims to support the substantial number of passengers connecting through IAH—over 50%, as stated by the airline.
Convenience and Comfort
Travelers utilizing Club Fly can expect various stations to meet their needs, including a full-service coffee bar manned by a skilled barista. Large screens throughout the lounge display departure information, ensuring that busy travelers can keep track of their upcoming flights effortlessly. The lounge’s design is highlighted by United’s signature royal blue color and logo, complemented by ample ambient lighting, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Delicious Snacking Options
The menu at Club Fly features an array of convenient snacks suited for travelers on-the-go. Options include individually packaged fruits like strawberries and grapes, fresh salads, wraps, and sandwiches. Additionally, a water bottle refill station and a selection of soft drinks are available to keep passengers refreshed. Access to this new lounge is granted to United Club members and those flying internationally with premium cabin tickets, allowing for a seamless entry process through automatic boarding pass scans.
Having opened its inaugural location at Denver International Airport in 2022, where over 300,000 customers have visited, the addition of Club Fly at IAH signifies United Airlines’ commitment to providing convenient services for busy travelers.
