New Destinations for Air Canada
Air Canada is set to add three new U.S. flight routes next summer, connecting the vibrant city of Vancouver with Tampa, Raleigh, and Nashville. Starting in May 2025, the Canadian airline is enhancing its offering to travelers by launching service from these metropolitan areas to Vancouver International Airport (YVR), showcasing its commitment to expanding connectivity between Canada and the United States.
Flight Schedule and Details
The new routes will offer a variety of travel options for passengers. Air Canada will kick off service to Nashville on May 1, operating four times a week until October 2025. Flights connecting Vancouver to Tampa will begin on June 3, running twice weekly throughout the year. Lastly, the service from Raleigh is set to launch on June 4, with flights scheduled three times per week until September 2025.
Enhanced Capacity and Ongoing Commitment
In addition to these new routes, Air Canada will also increase flight capacity to several key U.S. cities. Passengers can expect five weekly flights to Austin, a twice-daily service to Denver, and four weekly flights to Miami. Mark Galardo, Air Canada’s Executive Vice President, emphasized the airline’s growing network, stating that the expansion offers customers in Western Canada more choices and allows American travelers to discover the beauty of British Columbia. The airline is also part of the Star Alliance, planning to operate a total of 58 daily nonstop flights to 21 different U.S. destinations next summer, marking an 11 percent increase from the previous year.
