American Airlines’ New Route to Brisbane
American Airlines is set to enhance its international service by introducing flights from Dallas-Fort Worth to Brisbane, Australia. Beginning October 26, this new service features five weekly flights designed to offer travelers a direct connection to the capital of Queensland. The 16.5-hour journey departs Dallas at 10 p.m., providing a comfortable overnight travel experience.
Pricing and Travel Experience
For those considering this new route, economy fares from Dallas range between $1,361 and $1,491 one way during the initial weeks of service. This expansion not only simplifies travel to Australia but also connects passengers to American’s partner, Qantas Airways, facilitating further travel opportunities in the region.
Additional Destinations: Rio de Janeiro and Provo
In addition to the Brisbane flights, American Airlines is launching a daily flight to Rio de Janeiro starting on the same day. This service, which features a roughly 10-hour flight, offers economy fares starting from $598 to $738 one way. This launch reflects American’s commitment to strengthening its position in the international travel market.
Stateside, the airline will also introduce service to Provo, Utah, for the first time. Beginning October 7, travelers can expect two daily flights to Dallas and one daily flight to Phoenix. With fares starting at $135 one way from Dallas, this new route serves to enhance connectivity to Brigham Young University and the surrounding area.
