New Routes to Venice and Naples
American Airlines is enhancing travel options for customers heading to Italy by introducing new routes from the United States. Starting May 6, 2025, the airline will launch daily flights from Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) to Naples. This service will be operated on a Boeing 787-8 aircraft, complementing the seasonal flights currently offered from Philadelphia to Naples, which began earlier this year.
Nonstop Service from Dallas to Venice
In addition to Naples, American Airlines will also commence its first-ever nonstop flight from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to Venice on June 5, 2025. Similar to the Naples route, this flight will be daily and operated using the same Boeing 787-8 aircraft, addressing the growing demand for summertime travel to Italy.
Enhanced Services and Additional Destinations
American Airlines is not only expanding its routes to Italy but is also increasing its service to Rome. The airline will introduce a second daily summer flight from Philadelphia and launch service from Miami a month earlier in June. Tickets for these new flights will be available for purchase starting November 4. Moreover, American Airlines plans to resume services to Edinburgh next year while also increasing flights to Athens and Milan, ensuring travelers have access to various popular European destinations this coming summer.
