Exciting New Destinations from North Carolina
Avelo Airlines has made a significant announcement, unveiling plans to introduce seven brand new routes from North Carolina. Among these, two are set to enhance travel options for those looking to explore the Caribbean: direct flights to Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. This expansion is set to begin next year with flights launched from major airports, including Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), Charlotte’s Concord-Padgett Regional Airport (USA), and Wilmington International Airport (ILM).
Boosting Connectivity in 2025
Starting February 12, 2025, travelers can enjoy twice-weekly flights from Raleigh-Durham to Montego Bay, Jamaica. Shortly after, on February 22, the airline will begin operating flights to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Following these routes, Avelo will also add flights from Wilmington to Manchester, NH, and Nashville in early April, rapidly expanding travelers’ choices within the eastern United States and beyond.
Affordable Fares and More Choices
Avelo Airlines is committed to making travel accessible; to celebrate these new routes, one-way fares start as low as $44 if booked by December 10. As stated by Avelo Airlines founder and CEO Andrew Levy, “Our 27 nonstop destinations are just the beginning.” With plans for additional routes from Nashville and Manchester, Avelo is poised to offer more exciting travel choices while utilizing Boeing’s next-generation 737 aircraft for an efficient flying experience.
