Baha Mar Expands Its Luxury Offerings

Baha Mar, the premier luxury resort complex in the Bahamas, has recently announced plans for the development of a fourth hotel. This new property is set to enhance Baha Mar’s already impressive portfolio and is expected to open its doors in 2029. Located on a stunning 12-acre beachfront site, the hotel will elevate the experience for both tourists and residents alike.

What the New Hotel Will Feature

The upcoming resort is designed to be both spacious and luxurious, boasting approximately 350 guest rooms, each starting at over 550 square feet. Additionally, it will include 50 residential units, four new restaurants—highlighting a rooftop omakase and a beachfront dining experience helmed by a yet-to-be-announced celebrity chef. Furthermore, guests can look forward to an extensive 14,000-square-foot spa and fitness center, multiple swimming pools, luxury retail shopping, and family-friendly amenities.

The Economic Impact of Baha Mar’s New Development

Graeme Davis, the president of Baha Mar, emphasized the significance of this $350 million investment, which aims to catalyze economic growth and create new job opportunities within The Bahamas. The Prime Minister of the Bahamas, Philip Davis, echoed these sentiments, highlighting the development’s importance for local employment and tourism growth. Beyond this new venture, Baha Mar currently features three lavish resorts: the Grand Hyatt, SLS, and Rosewood, along with a plethora of amenities like over 45 restaurants and lounges, a casino, and a water park.
