The sale, which must be booked by May 21, has big savings on participating hotels across the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Asia, and beyond, IHG shared . The sale is available for travel from May 24 through Sept. 2.
All travelers can save 20 percent off hotels, while members of the IHG One Rewards loyalty program can save up to 25 percent off the same properties. Members also receive other perks like complimentary room upgrades, free breakfasts, and more.
Hotels booked with the sale must be pre-paid and are non-refundable. The sale can be booked online on IHG’s website.
The sale comes as the summer travel season is about to heat up and hotel prices are expected to average $240 per night during June, July, and August, according to booking app Hopper. Weekends are expected to be even pricier, averaging 20 percent more on Friday and Saturday nights.
Popular destinations include domestic getaways in small towns like Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and Bar Harbor, Maine; as well as international juggernauts like Osaka, Japan; Seoul, South Korea; and Nice, France.
