Wealth of Geeks revealed the findings from its newest study, which analyzed the coolest “Luxe” Airbnb listings to find which destinations are home to the creme de la creme. To find out which states have the most luxurious listings of all, it checked out price data for a flexible weekly stay between May 1 and Aug. 1 of this year and found that Colorado is home to the most over-the-time Luxe listing.

“Forest Retreat is a luxury modernist ski chalet in Vail with high-end amenities, including a massage room, fire pit, hot tub, gym, and sauna. There is space for as many as 14 guests with its six bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms, which come at a per-night price of an enormous $22,255.”

California came in as the home to the second-most expensive Luxe listing with Chateau de Laurel, which has a “swimming pool, hot tub, home theater, gym, and a wine cellar, this French Baroque estate has a per-night price as high as $21,701.”

Next on the list is the Casa Grande at Vermejo in New Mexico, which can cost as much as $20,685, followed by Villa Harrah in Nevada at $20,435, and the Haiku House in Maui for $18304 rounding out the top five.

“The Luxe category, which launched in 2019, has now had a few years to attract hosts of these prestigious homes, and the sheer, seemingly outrageous prices are bound to be fascinating. It’s also interesting to see the diversity in the list geographically and feature-wise. States from East to West coast and all between feature, with mountainous ski chalets to tropical mansions making the top ten.”
