TAP Air Portugal adds 10 more weekly flights to the popular city from North America.
The airline will fly a total of 77 flights each week between the United States and Portugal. TAP will also operate 20 weekly flights from Canada.
The airline plans to add an additional flight from San Francisco (flying up to six flights per week from the California city), as well as operate two flights per day from Washington Dulles International Airport.
TAP also flies to both Lisbon and Porto from New York, Newark, Boston, Chicago, and Miami.
TAP was recently named one of the safest airlines in the world, coming in at No. 17 on the list for 2024. The airline is also part of the Star Alliance along with U.S. carrier United Airlines.
TAP operates a low-cost model with three different economy fare classes: Discount, Classic, and Plus. Travelers who book the Discount fare are entitled to a carry-on bag, but do not receive a checked bag as part of their ticket. TAP also charges extra for meals in economy.
