Glamping in Yosemite has become an art form, with diverse options ranging from the sleek airstreams of AutoCamp Yosemite to the backcountry tents of High Sierra Camps. And last month, Wildhaven Yosemite started welcoming glampers to its stunning site in Mariposa, California, just to the southwestern corner of the national park.

With 12 cabins and 30 tents on its 36-acre property, the site is adjacent to a 2,000-acre protected ranchland area. Also visible from the property are the snow-capped Sierra Mountains.

Guests are encouraged to hike the nature trail with views of the town of Mariposa, as well as enjoy the hilltop pergola with stunning sunrise and sunset views. There’s also an on-site clubhouse, which offers s’mores kits, barbecue meals, and picnic items, as well as other food options, wine, beer, and cider.

Cabin stays are available in studios, with a queen bed and up to three twins in an upstairs loft, while the one-bedrooms have a queen and futon sofa. Both options have a kitchen, bathroom, shower, and private outdoor fire pit. All are also equipped with electricity, heat, and air conditioning. Those who prefer tents can choose from ones with one or two queens, or a queen with two sets of bunk beds.

This is the second site for the company, which also runs Wildhaven Sonoma in the Bay Area. More upscale camping sites are on the way in the great Yosemite area, with Under Canvas Yosemite and Outbound Yosemite, both scheduled to start welcoming glampers in 2025.
