Overview of LATAM’s Cabin Refresh

LATAM Airlines is set to enhance passenger experience with a significant overhaul of its cabin interiors. This upgrade will include entirely new business class suites, ergonomically designed economy seats, and various other improvements aimed at creating a luxurious travel environment. The refresh is expected to be implemented on 24 of the airline’s Boeing 787 aircraft, with an anticipated launch on March 1, 2025.

New Business Class Suites

One of the highlights of this upgrade is the introduction of a brand-new business class suite, distinguished by a privacy door. LATAM will become the first airline in South America to offer such a feature, which promises an elevated level of privacy for business travelers. Each suite will utilize up to 70 percent recycled leather, showcasing the airline’s commitment to sustainability. The sleek design will include a marble-looking side table and a small storage cubby to provide additional convenience.

Enhanced Economy Experience

In the economy plus class, LATAM aims to improve passenger comfort with increased legroom, a larger recline option, footrests, and dedicated luggage storage space. Economy class travelers will enjoy upgraded seats made with recycled leather and will have access to 12-inch high-definition touch-screens equipped with Bluetooth functionality. This system will allow passengers to stream content from popular platforms such as Max, Paramount, and Disney. The entire cabin refresh is projected to be completed by mid-2026, ensuring a transformed flying experience for all travelers.
