New Connectivity to El Salvador
Volaris El Salvador has recently made travel to the small Central American country easier than ever by launching new nonstop flights from Miami International Airport (MIA) to San Salvador. This enhancement in connectivity is a win for travelers looking to visit friends and family or explore the beautiful landscapes of El Salvador.
Flight Schedule and Details
The airline is now operating four weekly flights, taking off on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. These flights are serviced by the Airbus A320, accommodating 174 passengers. The recent launch of these flights aims to address the increasing demand from Salvadorans and Central Americans traveling to the United States, according to Ronny Rodriguez, Volaris’ sustainability and corporate development director.
Affordability and Wider Access
With one-way ticket prices starting at just $49, these new flights offer affordable options for travelers. Beyond Miami, Volaris El Salvador also connects to major U.S. cities such as New York, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, Houston, and Oakland. This expansion complements the existing one-stop flights via San Pedro Sula, Honduras, launched back in December 2022.
As Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava stated, the city looks forward to welcoming even more visitors from the Salvadoran capital. Volaris is committed to creating accessibility and facilitating travel to El Salvador while ensuring the lowest costs for passengers. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to explore the country’s Pacific coastline and world-class surfing!
